Introduction
The wave of the fabled Irish Goddess, Cliodhna, comes to Cliodhna Danielle McDaniels in the form of a tormented man from whom she cannot escape.
Every life has a force, a wave, pushing them to their destiny.
In this emotionally charged, suspense- filled story, a sensitive, spirited, independent girl, Cliodhna Danielle McDaniels, is compelled by her lifelong affection for animals to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She meets a tortured, disturbed young man, Desmond Marshall II, who is pushed by his abusive father to take over the family business. Their waves crash violently together forming an enormous, overpowering, unstoppable rogue wave which pushes them both to their ultimate destinies.
A lifelong resident of Erie County, Pennsylvania, Arleen McFadden Anderson has spent the majority of her adult life working in office settings. At the time of publication of Cliodhna's Wave, she is semi-retired, residing in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania with her husband of twenty years, Philip Anderson, and their Australian Cattle Dog, Maxine. They live forty feet o of the bank of Sevenmile Creek in a feedmill built in the mid-1800's that was renovated into a residence in the 1960's. When Arleen reached her fifty-fifth birthday, she asked herself, "If not now, when?" and put pen to paper to record stories that have been materializing in her imagination throughout her entire life.
